My work springs from considerations of function and use. For me, it is crucial to see a good reason to create a new piece of furniture or object. My ideas for new designs often spring from observations of people and culture. The way we live. My expression is simple, and my emphasis on function also involves making room for disorder in order to accommodate the irrational and chaotic aspects of life. The form should be natural and well-proportioned and thus appeal to the user and make room for use.
My practice moves between art works displayed in exhibitions where the irrational and abstract are free to unfold and the furniture field, where focus is getting ends in function, material, shape and production to meet. In both my abstract and commercial works, I thrive to find an interesting, insisting form that invites the viewer or user to continue to look at and explore the product further.

With a penchant for wood and the processing possibilities that lie within, I continues to explore the qualities of steam bent or solid wood. The material provides a perfect base for my works and I finds excitement in the simplicity and the textural qualities.

For my art works I collaborate with Gallery Maria Wettergren, where I had a solo exhibition in 2019. For my functional work I both collaborate with design companies and produce some of my designs myself to sell at our webshop.
